“Come on, it’s time to go.” I slammed the door closed behind us. I took Eros’ tiny hand in mine and led him down the path – away from the only home he could remember. All the while hoping and praying I had done enough to cover our scent to prevent us being followed.
My last act was to pray to Khaos, asking him to watch over us and protect us from the evil coming our way.
