and Kade being together? Whatever this is between us could affect them too.

He reaches for his keys, but I scoop them up before he does. “You might want to wash your hands first.”

Kade’s smirk is downright salacious. “And what if I don’t want to? What if I like the idea of having your juices all over my fingers?”

I blush a cherry red, and Kade chuckles, but makes his way to the bathroom anyway. I put my leggings back on, the fabric against my sensitive skin a reminder of how close I was to coming. I can’t remember how long it’s been since sex was like this. You’d think being a sex symbol would give you tons of confidence, but all it did was mess with my head and heap on expectations I had no way of knowing I could meet. But with Kade, I was able to get out of my head for a brief moment even if we were interrupted, and that’s more than I can say for my sex life in a really long time.

I’m so lost in thought I don’t hear him walk out the bathroom, He reaches for me, tugging me closer as he crushes his lips to mine. “I’m sorry about this. I’ll make it up to you.”

“Damn straight you will.”

“Oh yeah.”

My body aches with the thought of how close I was to coming. And how long I’m going to have to wait till we get the opportunity to be alone again. A tour bus with three other guys is not conducive to having orgasms.

Especially for me.

Chapter 27

Kade

“Why are you torturing me?” Hayley stands, hands on her hips, looking pained.

It’s our third tour date, and we’re backstage at AT&T Stadium in Dallas waiting for our turn to hit the stage. The guys are already up there, psyching the crowd up. The music is building to a climax, and the crowd is going crazy. It’s nearly time for Hayley and me to run on the stage.

I pull Hayley in to my arms and press a kiss to her temple. I’m never going to get tired of feeling her in my arms. “I’m torturing you? How am I doing that?”

Her eyes travel from my eyes to my lips to my chest, and then she peeks around me and flat-out gawks at my ass.

“With that outfit. Do you have any idea how incredible your ass looks in these?” She slides her hands into my back pocket, and I look down at what I’m wearing. Black, ripped skinny jeans and a white tee.

“I think you’ve got it all wrong—you are the one that looks incredible, and it’s you who’s torturing me.” My lips dip for a kiss, and I cup her ass through her cheeky short jumpsuit. The brilliant blue sequins shimmer against her tanned skin, but it’s her smooth skin I crave to touch. I slide my middle finger under the shorts that just cover her ass. Hayley moans, and I smirk against her lips.

“Kade. Hayley, they’re ready for you.” Shane, the stagehand, interrupts us.

I groan. “What is it with everyone always interrupting us?”

Hayley grins. “Pure jealousy,” she teases. “You ready?”

I reach for her hand and take the steps to the stage two at a time, Hayley right there alongside me. The crowd’s screams hit manic heights as we run on stage hand in hand as we’ve done every night since we started the tour. It’s common knowledge now that we’re a couple. During Keller’s inquisition at the cop station, I told the guys that we were dating. The surprise on Hayley’s face clued me in that she hadn’t been sure where we stood, but the kiss she gave me after told me we were all squared up. We later told the fans at our first meet and greet before our Florida concert, and social media took over from there. Yeah, there have been a few trolls as always. People with nothing better to do with their time than placing bets on how long we’ll last, or worse, how long it will take for Hayley to announce we aren’t in a real relationship. But fuck ’em, we’re together, and that’s all that matters.

Hayley beams out at the fans as she starts the first verse. She’s always so beautiful, but onstage she glows and I can’t take my eyes off her. I have to keep reminding myself that I’m here to perform, not stare at Hayley, but it’s damn near impossible. She’s exquisite.

After the second song, the guys settle into their instrumental, and I turn to address the crowd. Bouncing on my feet, I yell into my mic, “How you all doing tonight?”

The crowd goes crazy, and Hayley lifts her mic. “Is everyone having a good time?”

Whistles pierce the air, and Hayley puts her hand to her ear, cupping it like she can’t hear the almost deafening cheers. “Hmmm, I’m not entirely convinced. I said is everyone having a good time?” she shouts.

Her excitement is contagious, and I gaze out over the crowd, who I’m convinced are going to raise the fucking roof with their shrieks. I chuckle and look over at Hayley. She grins back at me, her eyes shimmering as bright as her outfit.

She looks to me and mouths the word “sorry” before tapping a finger to her lips. “I believe you, I really do. But I wonder if there’s something I can do for you to make things a lot better.”

I cock a brow at Hayley. We didn’t rehearse this at all, but the mischief in her eyes tells me she is improvising and it’s going to be at my expense. I look over at each of the guys, and they all shrug. They have no clue what’s up either. Since Emily and I split, I don’t go off script anymore. As if one body, the fans jump up and down, their hands waving in the air.

“So I’ve been thinking, guys. Who here would like to see Kade with his shirt off?”

My eyes snap back
